Atro-Phex Review

The Atro-Phex website claims that its weight loss supplement is, “The most powerful mood, well-being, Energy, thermogenic and physical and cognitive performance formula in history.” It also claims to get rid of subcutaneous water under the skin which helps to define muscle shape by using “the most powerful thermogenic technology ever created.” 

However, their claims are not supported by research. Atro-Phex does not reveal the composition of each ingredient that is included in the formula. This makes comparison with other weight loss supplements or researching the ingredients almost impractical.

Atro-Phex’s marketing gimmicks

Atro-Phex tries to make an impression on its target consumers by using a shock factor. They have a huge and supposedly impressive list of ingredients used in their supplement with no mention of the quantity or effectiveness of each ingredient. The only quantities mentioned are that of the vitamins.

Research has proven that Razberi-K and Synephrine promote weight loss but the research had been conducted on rats and not humans.
Green tea is a proven to help reduce weight. But, Atro-Phex does not reveal the exact quantity of the above ingredients in the supplement.
Bioperine increases the body’s thermogenic activity by absorbing nutrients which promotes health, but may not result in weight loss.

Yohimbe enhances fatty acid mobilization and 7-KETO, a metabolite does help in weight loss but research is insufficient to prove its weight loss properties. 7-KETO can cause heart palpitations. Also, some suggest consumption of a maximum of 5 mg a day which is much lower than what is present in Atro-Phex.
It is claimed Dicana burns fat but does not harm muscle tissues and increases oxygen consumption. These claims are not backed by research.

Cost of Atro-Phex

The cost of 98 capsules of Atro-Phex is $64.99. The suggested dosage is 4 capsules a day but not more than 8 capsules a day. With this dosage one bottle can be used for 25 days. With no research to prove its effectiveness, the cost of Atro-Phex is very high. Also, its distributor bodybuilding.com is selling it for $39.99. So, the $64.99 is just a bogus “retail” price to make the customer feel better about spending money on Atro-Phex. 

Side effects of Atro-Phex

The side effects of Atro-Phex can include cramps, burping, gas, sweating, nausea, headache and rashes. The website clarifies that the supplement should be taken for a period of 12 weeks followed by 4 weeks off.  

Summing Up

Some of the ingredients of Atro-Phex are proven to aid weight loss. But Atro-Phex does not reveal the quantity of each ingredient of the supplement. So it is impossible to verify if the quantity of each ingredient is adequate to be result oriented. This product is quite costly too.
