Diet Pill Summary The good: All-natural formula based on Hoodia Gordonii extract. Customer support is friendly and pills were delivered in 2-4 days. The bad: If you’re hoping this will work like Phentermine, you will probably be disappointed. It’s pretty weak, being Hoodia-based. The bottom line: Phentramin is probably the most effective Hoodia+Caffeine based phentermine alternative, but it can’t replace phentermine. Price: $62 for 1 month supply, $112 for 2 months, and $147 for 3 months. |
Phentramin Overview
Phentramin is little more than an all-natural appetite suppressant with a bit of energy thrown into the mix.
The price is very affordable given the brand’s reputation. Phentramin is easily obtained online through a variety of places, so it is best to exercise caution and only order Phentramin from a website that has an established user base and trust factor. Like all weight loss related products, there are quite a few imitators claiming to have the same benefits, but they don’t use the correctly balanced formula of high quality ingredients.
Initial Impression – What to Expect the First Week
Your first week on Phentramin will be a growth and adjustment period- your body will be taking the time to ensure that Phentramin isn’t harmful, and you may experience a multitude if different reactions. However, it is important that you realize that Phentramin has no known side effects other than an energy boost and a substantial reduction in appetite.
The active ingredient in Phentramin, Hoodia Gordonii, is sourced from a cactus in South Africa. It occurs naturally and needs no alteration from humans to be effective. There are other Hoodia based brands that are available on the market, though their effectiveness is hit and miss.
30-Day Review
Most people lose a significant amount of weight in 30 days. The median appears to be roughly 2 pounds a week or so, which appears low at first, but keep in mind that the weight loss is sustainable and permanent. Unlike many diet trends, the weight lost when on Phentramin is the result of the body getting used to a decreased daily caloric intake, meaning that the calories are burned off as opposed to being stored as fat.
Doing a bit of research online shows that most people using Phentramin are truly enjoying the benefits associated with it, but it is NOT even CLOSE to as strong as prescription Phentermine. It seems this herbal product just can’t compete with what the doctor ordered (or didn’t order if you got one of those stingy docs).
Conclusion
Phentramin is not a miracle pill and does not force you to lose weight. Phentramin acts as a catalyst, making weight loss easier via a bit of a boost regarding your eating habits. Some websites claim Phentramin is as strong or even more effective than prescription Phentermine, but this is just not true. But while the results of this herbal version aren’t convincing, there is a new version called Phentramin-d which seems to have some good before/after pics.
Many users report a noticable difference in their weight in just two weeks. To put it into perspective, most people are only 15-20 pounds overweight. Imagine losing that in 3 or 4 months. With Phentramin, it is possible, but this isn’t the best diet pill I’ve come across this year.
My Phentramin Rating:
| Benefit | My Rating |
| Appetite Suppression | 3/5 |
| Energy Boost | 2/5 |

I expected Phentramin to work more like Phentermine where I would not feel hungry for most of the day. Rather, Phentramin made me feel more like I wish I hadn’t eaten as much. So, in a sense, this does work well enough to lower my eating portions. For that, I say that overall, Phentramin is a good diet pill
This stuff is crap. It made my stomach feel weird and I felt dehydrated. Since I switched to the phentramin d i’m having a much better time and it actually WORKS. I lost 4lbs this week!
I don’t see a difference in my weight yet but I’m still waiting and hoping…
