The good: Great publicity and celebrity endorsements. Low cost.
The bad:Controversy, and some conflicts with perscription medication
The bottom line: The makers reccomend diet and excercise along with the product. If you are taking perscription meds you should most definately ask your doctor first. This pill comes with a lot of media support, but isnt the best pill on the market.
Price: $49.95 / 3 bottles (month’s supply)
Trim Spa used to be one of the most sensational diet pills in the market. It was endorsed by Anna Nicole Smith who personally used the diet pill and has shown exceptional results. Because of this endorsement and Anna Nicole’s body, Trim Spa somehow changed under the public eye. Trim Spa became a widely popular weight loss product.
This diet pill requires their customers to go on a diet and exercise to achieve the desired results. The ingredients of Trim Spa somehow increase your body metabolism. The product also helps in reducing fat by increasing the speed of the fat processing and effectively using it as energy. When properly used, Trim Spa should burn fat in your body while increase your body’s energy.
But aside from being popular because of a celebrity endorsement, Trim Spa has also had a share of controversies. Last January of 2007, the makers of Trim Spa were fined with a hefty price of $1.5 million because of its false claims. Aside from the fine given by FTC, they were also banned from making any claims regarding the efficiency of their product unless it has been scientifically verified. That should be done to all health products today and it’s just unfortunate for Trim Spa that they are the ones who were fined by the claims.
Trim Spa is composed of different ingredients aimed to help you lose weight but they failed to specify the amount of ingredient per pill. The ingredients in Trim Spa are grouped together and called the “X32 Proprietary Blend”.
The propriety blend is composed of the following:
Green Tea Extract
Some of these ingredients are relatively unknown and you’ll never know the exact content of these ingredients because they are just grouped together in x32 proprietary blend. Another ingredient added to the blend is chromium which could help in the weight loss process. But its effect on the weight loss is not really established especially on the combination of the compound with Chromium.
If you’re interested in taking Trim Spa, it is important to consult your doctor first. Although Trim Spa is an OTC product, Trim Spa has a lot of limitations especially for those who are taking extra medication. There are a lot of prescription drugs that should not be taken with Trim Spa especially those who are taking anti-depressant drugs. It is also one of the few products in the market today that is not 100%. Dyes had been added to this product for unknown reason.
On the positive side, Trim Spa is quite affordable. You only spend $49.95 a month for three bottles of Trim Spa.
However, if you’re looking for a quality product (who doesn’t?), Trim Spa is not for you. Endorsement alone should not convince you that this is actually an effective weight loss product. And the fact that the volume content is not specified only adds to the danger in using this product.
