The bottom line: VPX has potential, but until they are willing to open the study and show some numbers, stick to the weight loss supplements that are proven to work. In the world of fat loss, sometimes outrageous is just enough to catch the eye
of the consumer. VPX Meltdown claims to give the user “The Euphoria of
40,000 Chocolate Bars that removes fat like a Blow Torch!” (VPX website).
Fairly uncommon in the weight loss supplement community, VPX Meltdown makes
some huge claims and backs up these claims. But, what about the long term effects
of this pill on the body?
What makes VPX Meltdown Different?
There are common claims among fat burners. Promises of a suppressed appetite, fat absorption blockage, increased fat burning and a boost to he metabolism are all very cliché claims. Unlike other fat burners, however, one look at the VPX Meltdown website will give you a much different feeling than you get from other fat burners.
The makes of VPX Meltdown feel very strongly about the product they have created. The research on product effectiveness is extensive and the testing used to create the unique complexes used to make up VPX meltdown is a symbol of pride for the company. The VPX website states, “Interestingly, most of these compound innovations contained in Meltdown didn’t even exist and had to be chemically engineered in the lab.”
While the website is thrilled with the research results of their scientific studies, there are no numbers or actual research results listed on the site.

While VPX Meltdown claims that these ingredients were specifically created for the product, these same ingredients with different names and formulations are present in many other weight loss supplements.
Who Are They Talking to Anyway?
Once you get past the “doctored” up complex and formula names (like Potentiator), you will see the ingredient list for what it really is. Yohimbe, Caffeine, Synephrine and Phenylethylamine. Yohimbe, as a matter of fact, only works to its potential effectiveness in the presence of guarana and damiana.
At a second glance, it seems like the use of big words is there to trap those who are less informed about diet pill and weight loss supplement ingredients and more interested in fluffy names.
Final Conclusion on VPX Meltdown
The claims on the VPX Meltdown website are clearly we made a product and you will lose weight taking this product and feel like you have eaten 40,000 chocolate bars in the process. The idea that the ingredients are scientifically created just for this product is a little concerning as no long term side effects can be warned. The product creators also offer a ton of “research” and “study” information with no specific numbers or links to the scientific results of the studies.
Overall, the product does have the potential to make something of itself, but until they are willing to open the study curtains and show some numbers, stick to the weight loss supplements that are proven to work.

I’ve lost 19 pounds in 35 days using Meltdown VPX. Given, I did workout everyday for about 3-4 hours and had a strict nutrition plan (2500-3000cal). I did feel a decreased appetite, but I think you do have to be cynical and consider the “placebo” effect. Overall, I am satisfied with it, and just bought my 2nd bottle.

“Ingestion of Meltdown® results in an increase in catecholamine secretion, markers of lipolysis, and metabolic rate in young men and women. An increase in hemodynamic variables is also noted, likely due to the catecholamine response to treatment. Intervention studies should be undertaken to determine the impact of this dietary supplement on weight/fat loss, while monitoring hemodynamic variables to ensure safety of treatment.”
